So I hate leaving the house, and I liked to stay stocked up on all my dogs necessary needs. I dont always agree with putting drugs into my dogs bodies if they dont absolutley need it. I prefer to order supplies online in bulk so i can keep everything organized so I know what i need and dont need.
For example, Dream had an allergy rash on her inner thigh for a week, noticed it getting worse, then i saw a plant based salve cream my girlfriend had got me one year as a gift and i was reading about the herbal ingredients online and their uses. So while dream was sleeping, i rubbed it on her thighs and it was 100% gone the next day! A couple days later she had a routine vet visit with 3 of my other dogs and I told the vet about it, and he said "if you can use herbal remedies to fix these little problems, i definitely would not advice against it because I wont lie to you, allergy medicine isnt cheap." When he said that, i decided to do more digging and reading and research that weekend. Which leads me to my 'AMAZON FINDS"!! I still keep everything saved to my "DestinationDalmatian WIshList" so i can keep reordering. This is just HALF of what i have saved, lol.
Now, we now live an hour to an hour and a half from the closest 3 emergency vets! Our 2 main vets are 45 minutes away. So we're ALMOST kind of on our own at this point as far as emergency care goes. It's also great to have these available in case there's another pandemic. YES I EVEN CALLED THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE in my area! =( So supplementing my dogs with the best remedies I can find with home testings and having stocked on what they would need, these essentials are my back up plan. ALSO! To find supplements with NO added SUGARS and NO added yeast were a little difficult to come by.
